GTensor GmbH is an IT and AI consultancy for companies in Germany and Europe. One team that advises, builds and runs.
Who we are
GTensor GmbH was founded in 2022 in Hilgert in the Westerwald and is based in Dernbach today. We are an IT and AI consultancy: we advise companies on software, cloud and AI, and we build and run what we recommend.
Our clients get one team for the whole path, from the first assessment to a system in production. No handover between a strategy firm and a separate supplier.
Our AI tools are our own: GTensor develops and owns the GT AI Platform and GT Code AI, so we can fix, extend and support them directly. In consulting we stay vendor-neutral and recommend what fits your situation.
About the name: GTensor is short for GreenTensor. A tensor is the data structure at the heart of modern AI.
Our story
AI is not new to us.
We did not start with chatbots. Our work began with classic machine learning, long before large language models made headlines.

The beginning
Machine learning and deep learning
We started with convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for image and visual data, and recurrent networks (RNNs, LSTMs) for time-series data. That is where we learned the hard parts early: clean data, reliable training pipelines and models that hold up in production.

Early 2022
Our own language model
Months before ChatGPT made language models a household name, we began working with natural language models and built our own fine-tuned version.

Today
LLMs, agents and our own tools
Today we build with large language models, AI agents and retrieval over company data. This experience goes into our own tools, the GT AI Platform, GT Code AI and our voice call agents, and into every client project.
Every generation of AI brings its own pitfalls. We have worked through several of them. That is what clients and partners get from us: judgment about what really works in production.
